Bar crawl Friday to benefit Free Store

This Friday, Feb. 24, two local breweries and two NoDa bars have generously offered to host a bar crawl with proceeds benefiting the Free Store. NoDa Brewing will be hosting from 6-7pm, then Birdsong Brewing from 7-8pm. Next head to NoDa--Jack Beagle's will be hosting from 8:15-9:15 pm then Growlers from 9:30 -10:30pm. Each establishment will donate $1 per draft to the Free Store.

The Free Store is located at 1138 N. Caldwell St at 15th St in the Optimist Park neighborhood. Donated items are offered for free to anyone who may need them. The Free Store provides an opportunity for people of various financial dispositions to be provided with a little more than the basics. Given daily are clothes, shoes, books, household products and various other items. The Free Store is a donation-based project and inventory in in constant flux.

The hours are generally Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 10am-2pm.

Please come out and drink some more beer for a good cause!
